Places to visit
Nuraghe fort "Su Nuraxi", Giara di Gesturi, Museum of menhir statues (Laconi), Peninsula of Sinis Tharros, Green Coast, Dunes of Piscinas, Museum of mining (Iglesias), Cagliari.

Day 1 - Arrival in Cagliari

Arrival in Cagliari in the late afternoon or evening.
Meeting with Ichnusabike staff and transfer to Barumini, little town of the hinterland, famous for the most known nuraghe of the island, Su Nuraxi, considered part of the world heritage by the Unesco.
Arrival at the hotel, accommodation, delivery of the Roadbook and maps and briefing on the bike tour.

Day 2 - Laconi

This short but intense lap will give you the opportunity to visit the majestic nuragical fortress of Barumini and see the small horses of the plateau of Giara di Gesturi. From here you can enjoy a wonderful sight of the landscape of this area of central Sardinia.
After a slight uphill slope, you will arrive in Laconi, a holiday resort in the province of Nuoro where you can visit the museum of the Menhirs, the park and the ruins of the castle that belonged to the marquis of Aymerich.

Day 3 - Riola

From Laconi to Riola, a lap without any difficulty riding through small and typical villages that still live on farming activity.
The sea won’t be far from here when at the end of the lap we’ll reach Riola Sardo, little farming village not far from Oristano.

Day 4 - Oristano

Finally the sea with the fascinating peninsula of Sinis, the white quartz beaches of Is Aruttas, of Mari Ermi and the ruins of Tharros, town founded by the Phoenicians around 800 B.C., from which the town of Oristano, capital of the ancient reign of Arborea, was originated.

Day 5 - Piscinas

A short transfer will take you from Oristano to the wild Green Coast where you may admire the unique view of the dunes of Piscinas, the highest in Europe.

Day 6 - Nebida

From Piscinas to Nebida a trip in time where you will discover the ancient mine civilization through the villages of Ingurtosu and Buggerru.
The inlet of Cala Domestica and the white limestone stack of Pan di Zucchero ("Sugarloaf") are a must.

Day 7 - Cagliari

From Nebida to Iglesias, a short but interesting lap that will allow you to visit the natural and mineralogical sites of the town .
In the afternoon or evening you’ll be transferred to Cagliari.

After breakfast our services end, we'll say good-bye and leave or, by request, you may extend your stay.
On request,, if you're still feeling like pedalling, brief excursion to Poetto beachside and S.Elia Cape from where we can admire a sight of Cagliari and the Gulf of Angels.
