There are places that are worth a visit even just to say that you've been there.
This track, full of charm, will generate new sensations in every lap and continuously stimulate the visitor.
It's a rapid succession of images and discoveries: from the "nuraghes" to the little wild horses, unto the beautiful Green Coast with it's high mountains of sand and it's ruins of the passed mine civilisation that has created through the centuries sceneries, in a certain way, of rare beauty.
Day1: Arrival in Sardinia
Arrival in Cagliari in the late afternoon or evening.
Meeting with Ichnusabike staff and transfer to Barumini, a little village not far to Cagliari, famous for the most known nuraghe of the island, Su Nuraxi, considered part of the world heritage by the Unesco.
Arrival at the hotel, accommodation, delivery of the Roadbook and maps and briefing about the bike tour.
Day2: Sardinian Wild Horses
This short but intense lap will give you the opportunity to visit the majestic nuragical fortress of Barumini and see the small horses of the plateau of Giara di Gesturi.
From here you can enjoy a wonderful sight of the landscape of this area of central Sardinia.
After a slight uphill slope, you will arrive in Laconi, a small mountain village where you can visit the museum of the Menhirs, the park and the ruins of the castle that belonged to the marquis of Aymerich.

Day3: Towards the sea
From Laconi to until San Salvatore, a small village a few km from the beaches of the Sinis Peninsula.
The sea won’t be far from here when at the end of the lap we’ll reach your hotel

Day4: Among ponds and enchanted beaches
Finally the sea with the charming peninsula of Sinis, the beaches of white quartz of Mari Ermi, Is Aruttas and the ruins of Tharros, a city founded by the Phoenicians around 800 BC, from which the ancient capital city of Orissa, Judicial Kingdom of Arborea, originated.

Day5: Costa Verde
From Oristano pedaling* along the plane of Arborea you will arrive at Marceddì, an old fishing village where, after crossing the bridge, you will begin your exploration of the Costa Verde (Green Coast) and, at the end of the lap, you can admire the unique sight of the dunes of Torre dei Corsari.
By bike: 65 kms – Total Ascent 200 m
Day6: The Mountains of sand
Again sea and mines in this trip that from the Green Coast, through the desert landscapes of Piscinas and the mining village of Ingurtosu, will bring you to Portixeddu.
Once you are in Portixeddu you can spend some nice hours relaxing on the beach 10 min close to your hotel

Day7: The sugar loaf
More sea and spectacular landscapes in this fascinating final lap that finally, after passing through the mining villages of Buggeru and Nebida, will lead you to Fontanamare or Iglesias where a transfer will take you back to Cagliari.
During the trip you can stop at the inlet of Cala Domestica and go for a walk at Nebida where you can see the white stack of Sugar Loaf rise from the sea.
By bike: approx 30 kms – Total Ascent: 600 mt.
Day 8: Leaving
Our services end after breakfast, if you still have time we suggest you visit the city and its museums.
