Itinerary

D1 Arrival in Olbia
Arrival in airport, meeting with our staff and transfer to Palau.
Once in Palau, accommodation, short briefing and overnight stay in hotel.

D2 Palau
Afther breakfast, you will leave hotel by bike to reach Palau harbor.
Boarding with the bicycles and arrive in 30 min approximately to Maddalena Island, the biggest of the archipelago.
Once you will cross he bridge that links two islands, you will arrive to Caprera, a wonderful natural reserve where along the way it will possible to visit Garibaldi Museum; an accurate reconstruction of Garibaldi's house that includes the general's farm, home and library, all furnished with original pieces.
Stop in one of the beautiful white beaches to take a dive in the crystal water where you can have a stop.
In the afternoon, you will continue the island tour unti to reach La Maddalena village where before leaving, it will be possible make a stop to drink something or maybe visit the center.
Once you back in Palau, free time to visit this small town not very far to Costa Smeralda.

D3 Palau
By bike towards Santa Teresa di Gallura and Porto Pozzo for a medium easy trip that will allow you to reach the end of the northern coast of Sardinia and will introduce you to the beaches and landscapes of this corner of Sardinia located just a few kms from Corsica.

D4 Olbia
From Palau to Olbia crossing some places as Laconia, Cannigione (ancient village of fishermen, now important turistic destination) and Arzachena village where in its countryside its will be possible to have an archeological visit at Nuraghe Albucciu where you will know the main type of ancient megalithic building found in Sardinia.
After visit you will reach San Pantaleo; a charming village with stone houses, built around a picturesque square with lively cafes and various craft shops.
In the late afternoon, after a beach stop along the way, you will reach your hotel in the center of Olbia.
By bike: approx 49 kms – Total Ascent 550 m

D5 Arround Olbia
After breakfast, following your gps track that in a few kms will take you to the sea.
Alternatively, we suggest a medium difficulty bike trip that will allow you to better know the contryside of Gallura subregion with its landscapes, museums and treasures of knowledge and culture and traditions which Sardinia, thankfully, still retains.
In the late afternoon after visiting some lovely villages as Luras and Calangianus you will again return to your hotel in the center of Olbia.
Sea: By bike: approx 20 kms – Total Ascent 100 m
Contryside: By bike: approx 70 kms – Total Ascent 1150 m

D6 Budoni
By bike through the interior part of Gallura rich of small villages built in granite stone.
Once you reach La Cinta beach, one of the longest and widest beach on the island, you can take a picture close to a marshland area that is the habitat for many species of wildlife
In the late afternoon crossing San Teodoro, Ottiolu and Agrustos, you will finally reach the village of Budoni.
By bike: approx 52 kms – Total Ascent: 520 m

D7 Arround Budoni
After breakfast, you will leave your hotel for a round bike trip between wetlands, charming medieval villages, legends, beaches and wetlands will know the surroundings of Budoni.
Of particular interest is Castello della Fava, a castle with its square tower, perched on a small spur that dominates the plain below.

D8 Departure
Our services end after breakfast.
Greetings and departure or by request you may extend your stay to enjoy a few days of relax by the sea.
